This trout is carved out of wood, it is behind glass and is very hard to get the detail. It won Best In Show

This log cabin was on display in the Mountain Heritage Arts & Crafts Pavillion

The brillance of the colors in this basket was out of this world ... too bad i couldn't the pic to show them right ...

This cloth was knitted by one of the ladies in one of my knitting groups, she was surprised when it won 1st place, but she is the only one that was surprised ...

French Broad Farmers Market on 9/05/09

This past Saturday Dad had to go to the hardware store, mom and I wandered across the street to look at the vendors in the Farmer's Market at French Broad Food Co-op, I was so disappointed and so was mom ... out of 5 vendors only 2 actually had food, the other 3 were selling jewelry, now what jewelry has to do with Farming I am not sure but I think I will try to locate some other small farmer's markets to see what kind of vendors they have ...

See you next Monday,
Cinderella
